The Cathedral and its treasures symbolize the dominant role of the church in the Middle Ages and there are museums exhibiting valuable collections of art and archaeology.

The ancient Jewish quarter in Girona / Gerona, called Call, recalls the power once held by the city’s Jewish community.

Use your Car Hire to visit nearby Figueres, the birth place of Salvador Dali and home to the Teatre-Museu Dalí which was designed by the artist himself. Dalí’s tomb is in the building. If you are a Dalí fan you can also drive your Hire Car to Pubol, 22 km from Girona / Gerona. In the 1970’s Dalí and his wife Gala lived in this small village and in 1996 the Gala Dali Castel museum house was opened.

Your Car Hire will also enable you to explore both the tourist resorts and the less commercialised beaches and coves of the Costa Brava as well as the nearby ski resorts and picturesque towns of the nearby Catalonia Pyrenees.
